About Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box

Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box collection is in progress. Empty boxes with labels inside are at the front of the sanctuary. 

Our goal is to fill all of the boxes we have which is 117 and just a few more than last year!! 

Last day to bring your boxes to church: Sunday, 11/15/2026. Note: If you need to secure the top of the box, please use a rubber band (no tape, please).

Packing Party on Monday, 11/16/2026, after the United Women in Faith's meeting. We will be doing a packing party at approximately 12PM to fill any remaining shoeboxes, ensure content adheres to their guidelines and coordinate delivery of the shoeboxes. Please let Kathy know if you are interested in joining.

Reminders for this year:   They do not allow bar soap, no liquids, glass or war toys, no food or candy.

Online boxes can be packed for a $30 donation from this link: https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/buildonline/    Let Kathy know if you do this option.

Important: It is recommended that each box include a $10 donation in addition to the packed box.  Checks should be made out to either Prospect UWF or to Samaritan’s Purse with Operation Christmas Child in the memo line.  The donation is used for transportation & delivery, The Greatest Journey discipleship program, which includes 12 bible lessons for the children, training bible teachers who offer bible study to the child and their family members, and a bible in the child’s language.  Many times, these gifts lead the child and their family members to accept Christ and be baptized.
